hello! my name is alex, i'm an 18 year old digital illustrator and professional fangirl from California! i'm a senior in highschool, but i plan to study psychology in college. i use she/they pronouns and consider myself a lesbian :-)

recently, a big passion of mine has been authenticity! its dumb, but a genuine exchange with a friend greatly warms my heart. i struggle to put feelings into words sometimes (another reason to read more, i've ought to be able to write) but i love putting aside all jokes and just shooting the shit with an open heart. I LOVE MY FRIENDS <3

INTERESTS

i'm a big fan of the HBO drama Succession! most of all, i'm obsessed with the characters TOM and GREG. they're weird and funny & i have SO many acrylic charms of them.

my current biggest interest is the 80's comedy duo Fry and Laurie - though i wont go into them here, since i already have an extensive shrine for them.

i also like the Jeeves franchise! P.G. Wodehouse's books are hilarious, & Bertie and Jeeves are adorable. since the characters are so old (first published in 1917) and have become cultural icons, there's a huge backlog of content, analysis, fanworks and adaptation which i have so much fun researching and discovering.

MUSIC

Devi McCallion is my ABSOLUTE favorite artist! i admittedly don't know much about her as a person, but i can really get behind any of her albums. She's in Black Dresses, which is my favorite band.

besides from EDM like Devi and Femtanyl, my overall favorite genre is New Wave! I love Talking Heads (my second favorite band) and XTC!
